Our Commitment
Aborn Powers Inc. is committed to ensuring that our website, www.abornpowerspm.com, is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to provide a positive and equitable web experience for everyone, regardless of ability or the technology they use to access the web.
We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Measures We Take
Aborn Powers takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of our website:
- Include accessibility as a consideration in our website design and development process
- Use semantic HTML structure to support screen readers and assistive technologies
- Provide meaningful alternative text for images
- Ensure sufficient color contrast between text and background elements
- Design forms with properly associated labels and clear error messaging
- Ensure keyboard navigability throughout the site
- Use ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes where appropriate
- Test our site with common assistive technologies on an ongoing basis
Conformance Status
We believe our website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are continuously working to identify and address gaps in conformance.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following areas where accessibility improvements are in progress:
- Third-party embedded content — Our site embeds third-party tools including a tenant listing widget (Tenant Turner), a commercial listings platform (Buildout), and application forms (Cognito Forms). The accessibility of this embedded content is subject to the respective third-party providers’ own accessibility practices, which may be outside our direct control.
- PDF documents — Any PDF documents linked from our site may not be fully accessible. We are working to address this as documents are updated.
- Complex interactive components — Some dropdown navigation and form components may present challenges for certain assistive technologies. We are actively improving these elements.
Technical Specifications
Our website relies on the following technologies for conformance with WCAG 2.1:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- WAI-ARIA
These technologies are relied upon for conformance. The site has been tested using current versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari, as well as screen reader software including NVDA and VoiceOver.
